Thank you all for responding. I had HostGator restore all my files as they were on Sept. 29. That puts the original blog back online and should eliminate the trouble I have with the second one at this time.
The Drum and Fife Patriot part of it is new. The original blog is http://www.auggiesblog.com. I was adding this new one to my HostGator account. I have been using Alex Sysoef’s,”Expert WordPress” free installer and following his installation video. Everything went well when I installed the initial blog and this second one seemed to be going well until I tried to access per what the video instructions and I get the 404 error message.
