I tried to disable all plugins, except TranslatePress, and clear cache, but that did not solve the problem.
Thanks for your kind help, Anca, I understand that you other things to do. Thanks for coming back to me. What I am translating is a Divi module, so I can’t change to the Twenty Twenty theme. The feedback I shared in the last message was from the Divi support. Now it actually does not display anything in the module in the header under the heading, where the original Norwegian version displays the author, date and category (see https://norgeforjesus.no/en/dopt-i-den-hellige-and/ as an example). Would it be possible that I contact you by email and share my login with you so you can have a look? I have backup of my website and you could be free to disable plugins and change the theme.
@ancavictoria I saw that this case was set as resolved, but it is not. Have you had time to check my latest reply? Appreciate your support!
Using jQuery, I tried inserting a “by” text element into one of the posts and it worked. However, once rendered, it automatically changes to “City.” This usually indicates that something on the site is dynamically rewriting the content after the script runs, such as a translation script or filter. Checking this, it seems like TranslatePress is still using the Site Language in Settings –> General, which is Norsk Bokmål. I verified this in Google Translate, where “by” in Norsk bokmål (Norwegian) translates to “city”:
I tried some workaround (adding jQuery scripts), but unfortunately, it is still being converted to “City” when the page renders. I do not intend that Translate Press shall translate from English to Norwegian, only the other way around.
Thanks, that solved it. It was the same CSS that I had tried to add. I found that it is related to the LiteSpeed Cache plugin. If I enable that plugin, the image placeholder still displays, even if I purge all cache in the plugin. Do you have any ideas about which setting to adjust in LiteSpeed Cache?
Thanks for your kind help, Anca! Here is a video that I hope answers your questions: https://streamable.com/o5xtkh
I add more screenshots to show the problem. If I leave the English translation blank or adds by, it displays city[author]. If I add by %s, it displays by %s[author].

https://ibb.co/ktgpDfc“Disable translation for gettext strings” and “Disable dynamic translation” are not enabled. I use the Divi theme and the string comes from the Post Title module. Here is the screenshot: https://ibb.co/PZzpcW4x

In reply to: [Pay with Vipps and MobilePay for WooCommerce] Treghet ved betalingTakk for kjapp tilbakemelding, Iver!
Tregheten gjaldt fra når kunden skulle hente informasjon fra Vipps første gang. Når den infoen var overført etter langt om lenge, så fløt det ganske greit. Vi har opplevde det ganske mange ganger, og det er frustrerende å se på at folk går bort fra kjøp, da dette ikke fungerer helt tilfredstillende.
