Right. Unfortunately, quite a few things can create the space at the beginning of the file, so if you can work backward to “undo” the changes, you can find the culprit and understand why the behavior happens.

Something changed in your site that introduced a space at the beginning of the sitemap file – that’s what generates this error. Has anything else changed on your site?

I don’t see the post you mentioned, but I do see other posts from this month. Do you use caching or have you somehow excluded the post you mentioned?
