The changes I made to the sidebar appear on some pages, particularly new ones, when a new post is made. But not on others.
Help!

In reply to: entering root URL when installed in subdirectorywell, I couldn’t figure it out. I just deleted the whole site and started from scratch. I did the home page re-direct before making any other changes and it worked.
I have no idea what i did wrong the first time. Oh well.
anyway, this post is moot, now.

In reply to: can't load page & post pagesI don’t think they’ll be able to. It was really my screw up and I didn’t discover it for a while because I wasn’t using the site.
Since I can see all the posts and pages, and there aren’t that many, I think I’ll just save all the text and do a fresh install of WP and re-enter everything.
If I do that, can I save all the media files and move them into the new installation?

In reply to: can't load page & post pagesI am seeing a bunch of tables in the database which aren’t relevant. For instance, I once had tried a bb plugin, but didn’t like it and deactivated it. Yet, I see tables for that.

In reply to: can't load page & post pagesI don’t know what version it was before. I did get a message from the WP admin panel that it had to update the DB, which it did.
