Support at YoastIf you put this into Google: site:199flags.com
You will see that Google is indexing you regardless of the sitemap situation.
The Googlebots crawl all over the web and it’s not simply the sitemap they rely on. Interlinking content, using breadcrumbs, and even social sharing your content can give the Googlebots (crawlers) access to get deep into your content in the meantime.
You might also consider upgrading to the Premium version of our plugin so that we can get your site in front of our technical team and take a closer look at things. If we can’t get it sorted for you, you always have a 30 day refund window to refund if things remain stuck. Just something to consider.

Support at YoastDue to the way Twitter defines Twitter Cards, if you have an image set for your Twitter card, that’s going to be what Twitter wants to pick up. You could set a different image for your Twitter card for the post/page and the other plugin should then pull it correctly instead of an ad image.

Support at YoastBased on your other post, I’m looking at your URL: http://ndtfirst.com/bruker-introduces-new-skyscan-1275-automated-desktop-micro-ct-system/
And I see:
<meta property=”og:description” content=”Highly Automated, Self-Optimizing Micro-CT with Push-Button Ease of Use Requires Essentially No Training to Deliver Top-Notch 3D Image Quality and Productivity for Research and Industrial Markets” />Did you solve this problem?
Hi Sebrigo,
Are you assigning a Google+ title in the social tab of the plugin or letting Google+ pull a default answer?
Sometimes strange behavior may be caused by a plugin or theme conflict. The fastest way to rule out conflicts is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Fourteen. If this resolves the issue, you have a conflict and should activate one plugin at a time until you locate the conflict. Finally, after all plugins are active, switch to your theme. This will narrow down the conflict to a specific plugin or a theme conflict.
If you are unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we wrote a small guide that will walk you through the steps. You can find it here: How To Check For Plugin Conflicts: http://kb.yoast.com/article/253-how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts

Support at YoastWhen I visit http://www.addictionclinicnetwork.com/sitemap_index.xml/ in two different browsers, I’m landing on your blog page rather than either a sitemap page or a 404 page. Have you disabled the sitemap feature currently?

Support at YoastPlease be sure that you log into the correct Google Search Console account – in a different tab or window – before attempting to connect that account to the plugin. That will clear up a lot of problems.

Support at YoastHi doowiapp, don’t worry about your English. You’ve done a good job explaining the problem.

Support at YoastBecause the tool only looks at the characters that come AFTER the base of the URL, the home page URL, once assigned, is simply not detectable by the tool.
You can just ignore it since you know the words are there.

Even with perfect code, the best one can do is to give Google what WE want something to say, and still deal with how IT thinks it should be set up. In your case, I’d say there’s code confusion that is causing this. However, it’s possible, even if the code is as best as it can be, that Google will continue to do as Google pleases.
One thing you can try is to “Fetch as Googlebot” and see if Google clears up the problem if you’ve recently made changes to the site/code: http://kb.yoast.com/article/108-fetch-as-googlebot

Support at YoastBecause you’re troubleshooting development versions, the best place to take this bug would be to our github: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues

Support at YoastYou may find these template variables useful: http://kb.yoast.com/article/146-yoast-wordpress-seo-titles-metas-template-variables
%%category_description%% Replaced with the category description
However, getting it to display where you want is going to be theme dependent.

Support at YoastYoast sitemaps are built dynamically and thus can be load intensive if not divided correctly.
In your plugin settings, you should see an option for the maximum number of links to include per sitemap.
This is essentially the maximum number to include per internal sub-page.
Most likely, you have this number much higher than your hosting resources can sustain (which is a common source of confusion).
Try lowering that number substantially – which will create more internal sub-pages in the sitemap (but does NOT reduce the number indexed) – to reduce the resource load.

Support at YoastThanks to karakgogotech for bringing this to our attention and opening a report on our forum as well.
Hopefully it’s okay to share that URL here to connect this discussion: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/jetpackyoast-putting-jetpack-portfolio-type-sitemapxmlin-sitemap?replies=1
While we definitely need to get a bug ticket going on this, we have an existing filter that should work to successfully work around this issue in the meantime. The details of that are included in the link above.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and to karakgogotech’s help in bug reporting.
