In reply to: [WooCommerce] Spam Orders Getting past hooksMay, I would really love for this PayPal Plugin to work again. Is this something I should post in that plugins’ support forum?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Spam Orders Getting past hooksYes, I switched to “PayPal Gateway By Payment Plugins” and the spam orders stopped working.
It is a much-worse user experience (the CC processing is not on our website, so clients are getting confused), so I really would prefer to use this plugin.Any chance you can figure out how to prevent this?
Thanks

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Spam Orders Getting past hooksHi. Thanks for following up.
We have chaecked the current plugin for spam settings.
We have installed reCaptcha. We have installed hCaptcha. We have installed a couple other spam woocommerce plugins.
I will try this anti-fraud plugin. I haven’t seen that one.
I’m pretty sure we tried that recaptcha for WC, but I’ll try it.
I’m not sure if you saw my comment though. These orders are bypassing the normal checkout process. They are not trigerring any of the actions normally associated with completing orders, so nothing has helped.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Spam Orders Getting past hooksJust to be Clear: We are using the PayPal Payments gateway from that page. Right? You want me to use a different one?
I looked through the rest and I couldn’t find one that connects with Paypal.
Any other ideas? Any other way to debug or test where these are coming from? Any logging I can turn on?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Spam Orders Getting past hooksHmmm. We don’t have another payment gateway available. I can test turning it off very late tonight, but I don’t have a way to tell if the spam submits an order or not (unless an order can be completed with no payment system).

I also have 20+ sites using NinjaForms + Postman SMTP, and I also get this problem. (I often use Sendgrid as well in case that is a factor.)
I have a loom of this happening (starts at 20 seconds)
https://www.loom.com/share/2668ba17988d4d38bea13a58ef57b2a0I get the HTML instead of the email:
<table> <tr> <td valign="top">First Name:</td> <td>Megan</td> </tr> <tr> <td valign="top">Last Name:</td> <td>Herron</td> </tr> <tr> <td valign="top">Cell:</td>#3 is still a problem for me. I have 20+ clients using your plugin, and we always have this same issue.
It looks like that’s always turning into HTML when I resend the emails.
All of these clients use Ninja Forms to create the emails, and some use SendGrid API (through your plugin).

Just to be clear:
1) Your plugin provides rates for weights without dimensions.
OR
2) Your plugin provides rates for weights with dimensions, but if 1 product doesn’t have dimensions, it breaks and won’t return a rate.I see this has already been marked resloved, so I created a new support request here:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/ups-live-rates-pro-no-demensions-fall-back-fail/Oooh. Boy. So I think I figured out what’s going on here.
If I have a product (like a sticker) that doesn’t have dimensions, the plugin aborts the process.“Product #3875 is missing dimensions. Aborting.”
1) Can I set the plugin to just ignore products that don’t have dimensions, and still complete the shipping request for the products that do have dimensions?
2) Can I set the “Fallback” to be just using the normal order Weight?- This reply was modified 2 years, 9 months ago by AshtonSanders.
After posting this, the custom boxes have started working.
But if I have two large products, instead of realizing it needs two boxes, it just removes the Priority Mail Option…Well, I thought this had been working, but the client just informed me that it isn’t. We purchased Pro, and installed it, and our product’s dimensions are not being passed to UPS, so our prices are not including the dimensional weight on the larger packages. I tried entering custom boxes, and then priority Mail option disappears. I went through your documentation, and I couldn’t find anything besides this one section:
- Pack into one box by weight – a default live rates calculation method. Weight of all the ordered products is summed up and they are considered as shipped together in the one package.
- Pack items separately – each product is considered as if it was shipped in a separate box. If selected the plugin uses the products’ weight and dimensions to calculate their volume and return the shipping rates.
PROPack into custom boxes – this option gives you a choice which packages to use. You can choose from the standard USPS packaging or precisely define your own custom boxes:”
All of our products have dimensions, which are the boxes we fit them in. I tried the custom boxes, and entered in the box sizes and Priority Mail Disappears.
