Hi Jonathan,
I have just set up the email posting and it works fine except that it won’t post unless I actually go to the wp-mail file and open it…then it immediately posts anything in the file.
Is there a way to have it post without me having to go manually to wp-mail and activating it? I’ve heard some mention they set up a cron-job for this, but I have never used the cron feature but it seems fairly simple…except I need to know the code for the action I want executed…any links to a non techie guide to doing this?
Thanks.
Al
I too tried adding my feed to MyYahoo and it came back with the same message. I noticed on my stats page that when pinged some of the bots that came to my blog got 404 error when using http://www.myblog.com/blog but then got in ok by adding /blog/rss.php or some other add-ons to my blog URI.
I have my WP blog hosted on my site, in a directory called blog. So is my feed http://www.myhostsite/blog or do I have to add additional paths to it like blog/rss.php ?
