In reply to: Images in media library / featured image / archive not appearingFinally, fixed it. It was the .htaccess file of the main domain that had issues.

In reply to: Images in media library / featured image / archive not appearingIt appears that’s the case – the hosting support, unwilling to dig deeper.

In reply to: Images in media library / featured image / archive not appearingThank you !
Checked and fixed the directory & file permissions. But to our surprise, nothing seems to be yielding. In fact, I remived the installation, and did a fresh installation all over, yet the same. Let me see if there is something else I can do.

In reply to: Images in media library / featured image / archive not appearingUPDATE – Media uploads appear to complete in WordPress, but the files are not visible in the Media Library, the following troubleshooting steps were tried out –
- Directory & File Permissions (755, 644)
- Upload Directory
- Caches
- PHP Memory (256M)
- Plugin/Theme Conflicts:
- Switching to a default WordPress theme
- Server Resources, possibly not a reason
- Used Browser Uploader:
- PHP Version (8.3)
- Tried out Media Sync Plugin
- Could not check – JavaScript Errors
None of the fixes worked, hence, removed the installation.

In reply to: Images in media library / featured image / archive not appearingThank you @wpmudevsupport12
- images are still registered on database but no longer exist in the server … (I can see the images in cPanel…..uplaods/2025/09 and 2025/10 folders. When downloaded into PC, image/s do appear fine.
- …..is to download ( not revert ) a backup, and then manually upload the wp-content/uploads/2025 folder back – (tried it out. But to our regrets, it’s still the same…)
I am taking one last chance with hosting support, if they could notice some fix. Gave them link for this thread.
If that too does not work, then, I will re-install the WP all over. By Monday evening.

In reply to: Images in media library / featured image / archive not appearingThank you @wpmudevsupport3 + apologies for delayed response.
I will try that option. In the meantime, the issue I am noticing that image upload URL is not returning the image file, for example, these three images

In reply to: Images in media library / featured image / archive not appearingHi @threadi
I looked at the .htaccess file. It is too technical for me to handle. I’ll rather re-install. Will revert if required.

In reply to: Images in media library / featured image / archive not appearingThanks!
- Yes, that path you mentioned, is correct.
- Working with .htaccess – let me give that a try. Will revert.

In reply to: Images in media library / featured image / archive not appearingThanks @threadi – Through the cPanel > File manager > Uploads, I can see the image files being there. Screenshot.
On Backup – It is a fresh installation, so I can always re-do the entire thing. Imported whatever little is there. But, here I can see something to learn. So, I will try further for a day or two. Then, red-do the installation if couldn’t get the fix.
Hello,
I will check this up with WHM support.
Also, for information, I am in touch with Kadence support through a ticket. Do you recommend that I pursue it there?PLUS, I have created a staging site on subdomain, replicating the issue.
Will it be a good idea that I give you access to that dashboard to take a look at it?
To Update: I renamed the Kadence Blocks plugin on cPanel. That got my website show up again – only that those page builder elements are messed up (as plain HTML mostly).

In reply to: Perpetually occuring Internal Server ErrorThank you @sterndata for such a prompt and useful response.
Debugging: though that’s too technical for me to handle, but, the Debug Bar plugin is something that I will give a try.
Also, other tipes therein. I will revert after few hours with my results.
