I got it working! I had to deactivate buddypress to do it. Some other people had to deactivate their cache plugins also.
Oh and, once you’re connected to wordpress.com you can reactivate your plugins and jetpack will still work. It’s just the redirect url that has issues.

Tim! Thank you so much! buddypress was the problem. All I did was deactivate it and connected to wordpress, and when I reactivated buddypress everything still worked! thanks 🙂
I too am having the same problem and I can’t find how to log a support ticket or email Jetpack directly about this issue. Just a bunch of links that go around in circles. (Did they take email support down because they have too many bugs?)
