Hi Yordan,
Thank you for your response and for all the screenshots and links you’ve taken the time to share throughout this process. I now fully understand the final outcome — and sincerely appreciate your recommendation to hire a WooCommerce developer after several days of trying to get a simple tax breakdown to appear on an invoice.
I encourage you to keep sharpening these problem-solving skills — I’m sure they’ll lead to many, many sales of the premium version.
Thanks again for your support.
I’ve now set “Display prices during cart and checkout” to “excluding taxes”, as instructed — but the VAT breakdown still doesn’t appear on the invoice.
Please find attached a screenshot showing this setting is correctly applied: https://imgur.com/a/F5xORmn
Thanks for checking the screenshots.
I can confirm that all the products are correctly configured as taxable and have the proper tax class (10% or 21%) assigned. Also, the tax settings were already correctly configured before placing the last test orders.
Despite this, the VAT breakdown still does not appear on the invoices.
I’m also attaching a link to a screenshot of the Tax Settings page for your reference:
https://postimg.cc/dLPRRtj6Please let me know how to proceed, or if you still believe the premium plugin is necessary. If so, I would need your VIES number and full company name for fiscal reasons, in order to proceed with the intra-EU purchase without VAT.
I have shared them through your email because the URL that you provide here to attach the picture are not working.
I also provided those URL in the email, which you can find below:

https://ibb.co/Xr0r0NhyPlease, I really need a solution ASAP. This is taking way too long.
Hi, did you managed to check the screenshots?
Thank you ahead.
I don’t know in what location I can see that. If you can guide me…
Sorry cannot share screenshot here. Look at your email.
In order for you to understand what might be happening in the middle, what order details do you need?
What other kind of detail do you need to check that I have displayed the correct settings for the VAT to be disclosed?
Thanks in advance.
I haven’t received a response to my last message, and I urgently need a solution.
If it turns out that the only way to display the VAT breakdown properly is by purchasing the premium version of your plugin, I’m willing to proceed with the purchase. However, I need your VIES number and full company name for fiscal reasons, in order to complete the intra-EU acquisition without VAT.
Additionally, I need to know:
- Once I purchase the premium plugin, will the VAT breakdown be applied automatically to all invoices?
- Or will I have to go through each order manually to update and regenerate the invoices?
I appreciate your help and look forward to your prompt reply — this is quite urgent for my accounting needs.
I can confirm that all products in my store include the corresponding VAT (either 10% or 21%), and are set as “Taxable”. However, none of the invoices generated are showing the VAT breakdown, regardless of the tax configuration or product settings.
I’ve tested different combinations of the following settings without success:
- “Prices entered with tax” → Yes / No
- “Display prices in the shop” → Including / Excluding tax
- “Display prices during cart and checkout” → Including / Excluding tax
I would really appreciate it if you could help me understand what might be missing or if there’s another step I should take.
I really need to solve this situation given that I have tax obligations I have to attend ASAP.
Looking forward to your guidance.
Thank you for your response. I have now tested all possible combinations of the following tax settings:
- Prices entered with tax: Both “Yes” and “No”
- Display prices in the shop: Both “Including tax” and “Excluding tax”
- Display prices during cart and checkout: Both “Including tax” and “Excluding tax”
Despite these changes, the VAT breakdown still does not appear in the invoices. Could you please confirm if there is any additional step I should take to ensure the taxes are properly itemized?
Additionally, I would like to know if invoices for past orders (before the correct configuration was applied) will be able to show the VAT breakdown retroactively, or if the issue only applies to new invoices moving forward.
Looking forward to your guidance.
Thank you for your response. I have already followed the steps outlined in your reply, ensuring that:
- Display prices during cart and checkout is set to Excluding taxes
- Display tax totals is set to Itemized
Despite these settings, the invoices generated with the Simple template still do not display the VAT breakdown. I have sent a screenshot for your reference.
Could you please advise if there is any additional step I may be missing, or if this could be a technical issue?
Looking forward to your guidance.
