In reply to: Page Displays Off CenterOr…..
If what you really want on the front page is the smaller thumbnail, disregard the above, and on friont page options choose “excerpt only” and show thumb on the Front Page.
Basically it looks like you are getting the full zize inage on the front and a thumbnail.
If I were you and don’t have a lot of pictires yet, I would delete the photo, reupload it and only show a thumbnail on the post/page.

In reply to: Page Displays Off CenterYou are posting a thumbnail on the page, instead of the image.
First, make sure on the “single post” and “single page” option in the Suffusion menu is turned OFF.
Then, if you are using the media Uploader edit the post again. Delete that one and reupload it, and then look at the bottom of the uploader and choose size you want. Usually it offers a medium size and a full size, depending on how biog your image is.
Hope that helps.

In reply to: Online Gallery WebsiteThanks for the comments.
blu3frost — You may be right about the borders. I was aiming at a width that would fit on most screens, and the program I was using doesn’t allow for fluid widths, so that seemed like the best compromise. I’ll see if there’s an alternative.

In reply to: The KreggorianLooks good. The style certainly fits on with the subject.
Just one suggestion. That photo in the front is clever but a little, er, creepy. You might want to put in an artwork on he front, and move the photo inside to your author’s page so it’s not the first ting visitors see….But that’s obviously subjective.

In reply to: My WordPress (Blog and CMS) Website – Feedback AppreciatedAbout the hotlinking — if you mean you have placed links to the photos in your blog on other sites, I think you could leave those where they are, and still make new lightbox galleries with the images for your blog. You might check out NextGen Gallry plug in and plkay with that. It seems pretty flexible and fast to make Lightbox galleries with.

In reply to: My WordPress (Blog and CMS) Website – Feedback AppreciatedLooks good and seems to be a lot inn there, but a couple of thoughts.
Your header is a little overwhelming in size. You might shrink it up somehow.
Also, your galleries look like they are Coppermine. The problem with that kind of gallery is that they tend to be bigger than the screen, which causes things to jump around visually and make it hard to see the full picture…If you have time, you might want to set up Lightbox style galleries instead.

In reply to: My personal website (photoshop and graphic related)Looks like a lot of interesting and useful content is there, which is good.
One suggestion. It is too uniform, with all those small blocks that are the same. It’s kind of overwhelming, and hard to get into.
I’d suggest having some larger highlighted posts on the front page. Also, include a brief introduction giving an overview of the site, its purpose and who you are.

In reply to: Can’t Remove / Edit WidgetsThis may sound basic, but the ability to edit options partially depends on the Widget itself.
Some of them offer options on the dropdown, otehrs don’t. or else you have to edit them under the Settings or Manage sections of the Dashboard.
Also you remove Widegts under the edit tag. It’s not drag and drop to get them off. Then save changes.
If you’re already familiar enough with WordPress to know that, I realize that’s probably not your issue. But if not you might check that out.
