It seems this is a problem with 3rd party plugin which “optimize” images. It replaces all
tags with <picture> analog and it breaks image handling by “ARI Stream Quiz”. Try to disable this plugin for quizzes or try to disable “Prefect quizzes” option on “ARI Stream Quiz -> Settings -> Advanced” page.

It is possible to add this data to each image via custom JS code. Do you want to append EXIF data to existing title or need another format?

The plugin is constantly updating and supported (free and PRO versions). Changelogs are available. Supports forums are also public here and on our site. We provide support via requests on our forum and by email. We don’t limit subscriptions to PRO version. Customers pay only once and have access to all further updates.
We see only two requests from your account. The first was created 06.2020 and the second one we received today. We sent instructions how to setup auto updates and where the latest version can be downloaded.

@nnproducts what IE version do you use? If it is IE 11 or below then latest PDFJS versions don’t support it.
@jmargel the problem occurs because you use http:// link to PDF file instead of https://
@nnproducts It looks like a problem with links to PDF documents (an incorrect link is used or redirects is configured incorrectly). For example it is not possible open the following PDF file directly into a browser, it redirects to home page:

Could you explain in more details for what API you want to use basic auth? The plugin uses CF7 hooks to handle data and send it to 3rd party services like MailChimp, MailerLite, Zapier.

The plugin attaches the lightbox automatically based on configuration from “ARI Fancy Lightbox -> Settings -> Integration” page.
For example if enable “WordPress Galleries -> Convert WordPress galleries” checkbox then the lightbox will be added to all images from native WordPress galleries.
If enable “YouTube videos -> YouTube videos” parameter then all links to YouTube videos will be opened into the lightbox.

The plugin works in all modern browsers. If something doesn’t work, usually it is a conflict with 3rd party plugin/theme. Is it possible to see the problem so we can investigate it?
