In reply to: [Cherry Projects] How to change headings ?As far as I can tell, css is the only way to do much with the styling of this plugin

In reply to: [Responsive Posts Carousel] Set equal carousel card heightThank you for that.
One thing I noticed after applying that css was that the positioning of posts vertically between each row of my two-row carousel was separated by that nominated distance, rather than the cards themselves (or their backgrounds) being made to extend to the nominated extents if otherwise would be shorter. Only workaround I found was to add a lot of spaces to ends of shorter posts so that they are slightly longer than the nominated card height. Also, the contents of the cards become no longer responsive – the ‘Contact Us’ button on some of the cards disappears or is partially masked while viewing from a mobile phone.
Rather than specifying a fixed height, is there a way to automatically adjust card height such that the longest card is what sets the height for all cards? – that way the cards can be responsive, and all the same height

In reply to: [Responsive Posts Carousel] Set equal carousel card heightHi, how do we set different post heights for different carousels?
Awesome – will watch with interest. Something else I would love to add to the wishlist is the ability to nominate an absolute height for both images and text display – so that I could ensure they exactly match each other visually. Also an ability to drag images around within the frame to best position them (eg so heads of people don’t get cropped).
The trick seems to be to use the WordPress editor directly to define the available panel width and positioning that the shortcode is in – the carousel for me scaled to fit that width
Hi – I just tried this, and the carousel is smaller, but it is no longer centred – there is a large gap now on one side but not the other

In reply to: [Responsive Posts Carousel] Can’t control post orderAh! Many thanks. That seems to order properly now

In reply to: [Responsive Posts Carousel] Formatting problem with buttons in source postThanks for that – the buttons now look better, but with that override the remaining text is now very large – disregards the font size in source post.
Also the line height for text above buttons should not all be the same – there is no distinction in the gap between multiline sentences and separate paragraphs.
Is there a way to get source post formatting to be reflected?

In reply to: [Responsive Posts Carousel] Adding rows messes up width formattingFurther to above, If I set columns to 1, rows to 2, and slides per row to 3, I only get 2 slides per row, with the 4th slide position each row being blank. Also the last two slides on the carousel are randomly offset below the rest.

In reply to: [Responsive Posts Carousel] Adding rows messes up width formattingHi, thanks for your fast reply!
Is there no way to specify 3 columns and two rows?
I tried setting columns to 1, but the result was my site froze (no error message)
When I set it back to 3, it started working again.I have managed to get the result I wanted only by leaving the ‘slides per row’ setting blank, and setting the columns to 3 – and I also had to manually ensure each post was the same length in order for the rows not to go out of alignment on the 2nd row.
The problem with this workaround approach is also that it does not work well responsively on mobile phone – mobile phone needs rows to be 1, not forced to stay on 2

Hi – won’t that make both carousels link to the same page?
I have two carousels using same theme, each one needing to link to a different page from the other.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Responsive Posts Carousel] Disable post linkingMany thanks!
By trial and error (I don’t know php) I eventually hacked the required outcome by chopping bits out of a copy of the carousel template I am using. This is much more elegant!

In reply to: [VS Contact Form] Very Simple Contact Form with settingspagePlease add some simple visual formatting options.
Most important, a way to make all fields line up/justify down both sides rather than having message field always longer than the others and so poking out to the right (looks visually bad in a sidebar)Also a way to shrink (or enlarge) the height of the message field, and to shrink the size of the ‘submit’ button so it does not look like an unsuccessful attempt to resemble one of the data entry fields
