Good call, thanks. The issue seems resolved now!
That’s a good suggestion Kakoma. I remember reading about this a while ago and somebody mentioned something similar.
I downloaded and installed the plugin. If I download a .css or .php file from the server what kind of a line-ending should I set up in the plugins config – Unix (LF) or Windows (CRLF)? I am using Windows and the server is Unix.
Actually, now that I’ve analysed it a bit more, it’s the same on the local copy of the site, which isn’t running any caching.
Thing is, I am running W3 Total Cache, but it shouldn’t minify themes in the admin, especially themes that are not active, right?
Thanks Esmi.
I haven’t but I can try. Are you a Netbeans user? What kind of encoding do you use for WP projects?

Thanks mdswp, that is much easier.
To get back into the admin area, log in via FTP to the site and rename the “feedwordpress” plugin directory to something else. This directory is located in the “wp-content/plugins” directory of your WordPress installation.
I fixed my site by downloading all the files tagged with “2012.1218” from this link, and uploading them to the “feedwordpress” directory on the server. This makes the plugin revert to the version before the one with the error.
If tall of this is too much you may want to try first renaming that “feedwordpress” directory to get back to the admin area and then installing a different plugin, like [WP RSS Multi Importer](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-rss-multi-importer/).

UPDATE: until the dev fixes this error, you can download the penultimate version of the plugin here.
To access the admin area and get the site working again but without Feedwordpress plugin login via FTP to the site and rename the plugins/feedwordpress directory to something else.
I have dl-ed the plugin to my local machine and am checking out the code to see whether a quick hack could fix the problem.

In reply to: [Easel] child theme for the style-default page? Not the theme author but creating a child theme is the best way to go. If you edit the original theme and the theme gets updated your edits will be erased.
I am also having trouble with this plugin as it’s immensely slowing down my site. I have also tried everything the plugin author has suggested in this thread and nothing really helped.
Has anybody tried out a cache solution with the site? I’ve read that the W3 total cache wipes out settings and syndication after a while so I am pretty reluctant to try it out.
