lockettpots you are a boss! nailed it with that suggestion everything now looks a lot cleaner on the home page and the comments still work when you go to the specific page of each post
i have not edited the loop.php of my theme but i am using several plugins on the page. i remember that the comments and comment box didn’t originally show up on the main page and i added them however i don’t remember how to remove them now. like i said before i don’t want to completely disable them i just don’t want them to show up on the home page. whenever someone clicks on the specific post and goes to that page that is when i want someone to be able to comment on it.
