Hi John,
In one of our recent releases we changed the user meta table key from “last_login_time” to “aiowps_last_login_time” to avoid conflicts with other plugins.
If you check your user meta table for this new key “aiowps_last_login_time” you should see that it’s updating as expected.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] What is this information?Hi Steve,
I’m also using a Mac and it works as expected for me.
Could you try again with your browser developer tools open and check if there are any errors?

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] What is this information?Hi Steve,
Sorry about the confusion, that text is part of UpdraftPlus, Bryle must have missed it as it only appears if you have backups in the existing backups table.
The text contains instructions for selecting backups in the existing backups list without having to check the checkbox.
On Mac you would press the command key and click on any backup in your list and it will select it (you can select as many as you want e.g maybe you want to select a few to then be deleted)
If you have lots of backups and want to select a block of them you can press Command and Shift together then click on the first backup and then click on the last backup and it will select all backups between them.

Can you or your hosts check the PHP error logs to find the actual error message, that will allow us to work out whats going on.

Hi,
Unfortunately thats a limitation to how OAuth apps work in general (Google Drive, Dropbox, Onedrive) you provide read and write access to your account which is authenticated via a token.
Even if we got rid of the delete button entirely, someone with admin access would be able to access the database, grab the token and use it outside of UpdraftPlus to delete the backups if they wanted.
To protect against that you would need to use another remote storage such as AWS which allows you to create a key that can only write files to storage and not delete.

Is that a log message from a backup using the latest backup.php I sent?
Did the backup stop after that or did it continue?
Best wishes,

Hi,
Thank you for the detailed information.
I’m having trouble reproducing this issue on my local development sites and none of our testing or production sites are having the issue.
Looking through the information you posted I might have found the issue, could you try the following backup.php file:
