Hi,
What do you mean by “crashing your dashboard”?
Do you get a whitescreen? if so something is causing an error on the server.
If you could check with your hosts to see whats in the PHP error log, it will tell us what is going on.

Have you tried this with All-In-One disabled?
Just so we can rule out if it’s the plugin or not.
Depending on how this is setup it maybe the server software it’s self that is blocking you from accessing the files.
When you say the root folder of your server, is that the root of your web folder or outside?

Is it possible that the page is cached by either the browser or a cache plugin?
Can you try clearing these caches.
I assume the page is looking for the images using the old domain rather than the new.

If you disable AIOS does the issue go away?

Sorry about the delay.
I’ve just tested this myself and it is working.
The emails are sent every 15 minutes via cron, so they may just be delayed.
Or if crons don’t run on your server that maybe the reason why you are not getting them.
