In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Payments] Please Enter Address To ContinueI temporarily solved the issue by changing the WooCommerce setting for Default customer location to Shop country/region. I know this isn’t possible for all stores, but it did solve this issue for me, oddly enough.

In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Payments] Please Enter Address To ContinueI’m running into the same issue… the refresh allows it to work for some reason, but it’s not a good solution as it makes the store feel less credible. Great plugin, just hoping this new error can be handled. Thank you!

In reply to: [Download Monitor] Access denied after updateSince the fix hasn’t shown up yet, I used the method proposed by @grex22 above, just using the relative root path, and the downloads are working fine.

In reply to: [Download Monitor] Access denied after updateI’ve already tried this on our development server yesterday. It doesn’t work either, just provides a blank page with a browser error:
Hmmm… can’t reach this page
It looks like the webpage at [staging URL redacted] might be having issues, or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. So this isn’t even delivering the intended Download Monitor plugin error page. Even if I select a specific ‘No Access’ page via the settings, it still just delivers a browser error.

In reply to: [Download Monitor] Access denied after updateHas there been any progress on this? We’re still prevented from accessing files – been down for days now.

In reply to: [Download Monitor] Access denied after updateI tried rolling back the plugin to the previous version, but no dice – still throwing errors. I guess there may be some other changes that are preventing it from working.
I look forward to your reply. I have quite a few downloads and templates based off of Download Monitor… and thank you for your help!

In reply to: [Download Monitor] Access denied after updateWell, this site is hosted at a place with some optimized setup, so I wasn’t 100% sure. I hit up their support with your question, and this is their answer:
No problem! The /wp-content directory is still housed in the default location within the site root.
So yeah, wp-content is still in root.
Another odd thing we noticed… we have another directory in root that we serve downloads from through Download Monitor – we link to those files by pasting in a hard link to the file in the meta box on the download page. These files are not in the Media Library… they are just sitting in a folder on the server. These links are still working – but nothing from the Media Library is working.

In reply to: [Download Monitor] LOTS of downloads with IE 7.0/Windows 8 User AgentIndeed. This is awesome. Thanks for being so thorough! I’ll incorporate the changes and see if anything happens, and keep my eye out for the next version. Thanks.
