    Thanks for your assistance Al Amin….. I cleared my browser and site cache (dont have a CDN cache)

    “Threadi” above has already tried to assist and found that “wp-site-designer-contrast-fallback.”  was forcing the color change …..after I had identifiyed an “important” CSS rule… but we could not find where or which plugin was causing that. I dont use any caching or optimization plugins…..

    None of these things worked ;o( .. .so Yes if you have any other ideas, please share

    Thanks for your quick response!….. I only use a few basic plugins and nothing that I know of related to contrast optimiztion. I am concerned about deactivating any of the plugins and breaking something else (I am bit of a novice!) ….. if I deactivate any and then reactivate soon afterwards…..does that generally not lead to other problems? …. sorry I know that is a vague question…Thx Again!
