In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] How to use premium support?Hi @silviotiago ,
As the moderator mentioned, we’re not allowed to discuss about a commercial plugin here on the forums, as per WordPress.org guidelines.
You can create a support ticket through the support section of our site. While you won’t see the ticket listed in your account, we confirm that it’s received and it will be handled shortly.
For the reasons mentioned above, this thread will now be closed.
Thank you for your understanding!Best regards,
AntonioHello @neodan ,
Thank you for reaching out!
Our cookie settings are always set to “functional only” first. We respect the browser’s Do Not Track signals, which take priority over individual website preferences. This approach is meant to respect the visitor’s prior choice made through their browser settings. Since the user has already expressed their preferences, showing the consent banner again is not needed.
I hope this answers your question. Let us know if you have any doubts or inquiry!
Best regards,

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Complianz – google fontsHi @kartsa2024 ,
You don’t need to do anything else in that section. You can press the “Sync” button if the cookies haven’t been synced yet; the plugin will handle the rest.I hope this helps.
Hi Sadie @smhsmh ,
Thanks a lot for your feedback! The REST API of cookiedatabase.org is working correctly at the moment. However, this error can sometimes occur if your language code includes a dash (e.g.,
pt-pt) in the language selector. If that’s the case, simply changing the language code should resolve the issue. Also, since the original thread was closed months ago, we kindly ask you to open a new thread for further support.
Thanks again!
Hello @nicmare ,
Thank you for reaching out.
That’s completely normal behavior, thecmp/vendorlist/vendor-list.jsonfile is part of the TCF banner and is loaded when the banner is generated. This is required for proper functionality and compliance. If you have questions about this or other TCF-related features, we kindly ask you to reach out via our official support ticket system. Since TCF is a premium feature, discussing it publicly on the WordPress forum goes against their guidelines; this thread will therefore be closed.
Thanks for your understanding!

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Cookie scan not accurateHello @agent3w ,
Thank you for reaching out and for using our plugin! You can reset all detected cookies by using the “Clear Cookies” button under Wizard > Consent > Website Scan. This will remove previously detected cookies without affecting your configuration.
As for the cookie scan results: the Complianz scanner checks cookies present in the browser and wordpress istance at the time of the scan. This includes cookies set by:
- Cookies from Plugins
- Browser extensions,
- Other active services,
- Or cookies from the main domain, since your starter site is on a subdomain (e.g.
preprod.mydomain.com/clientdomain.com).
To ensure a clean scan, we recommend running it in incognito mode from a browser without extensions.
Once the site is live on the client’s domain, any irrelevant cookies will no longer appear, as they aren’t going to be found. You can safely ignore or manually delete unrelated services/cookies in the meantime. We also have a guide on troubleshooting the cookies that you may find helpful.
I hope this helps and clarifies your doubts!

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] complianz plugin called to earlyHi @lifetoremember ,
As @aahulsebos mentioned, we’re aware of the issue and currently don’t have a solution yet. However, a fix is on the way, as we’re actively refactoring the Terms and Conditions plugin. In the meantime, disabling the plugin will remove the notice.
Thanks for your patience!
Best regards,
AntonioHello @dizzow,
If this has also happened with other cookie banner plugins, it might be an issue related to server permissions.
Was the issue resolved in the meantime?Hello @tranny ,
We’re really sorry to hear about your negative experience, that is never our intention, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
First, we want to clarify that Complianz does not harvest emails or any personal data. We did, however, make a mistake in a recent email by not including an unsubscribe option, which we acknowledge was an oversight on our part. This was immediately corrected in the following email.
That said, please rest assured there was no fraudulent intent, and we truly regret the confusion this may have caused.Regarding the issue with database cleanup: Complianz includes an option to remove all plugin data on uninstall, so nothing remains in your database or WordPress environment. You can enable this in: Tools > Data > Clear all data from Complianz on uninstall.
As for the banner not displaying: this can often be caused by caching or browser-specific behavior(e.g. Brave). To start the troubleshooting, we recommend:
- Testing your site in different browsers or private mode
- Excluding Complianz from your caching plugin, article here.
If you’re willing to share your site’s URL, we’d be glad to investigate and help resolve the issue.
Thank you again for your feedback.
Best regards,

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Cookies not accepted for Google adsHello @numeractive ,
Thank you for your message.
To enable Consent Mode for Google Ads, the Premium version is required. The Consent API isn’t relevant in this case, as it serves a different purpose.
If you have any other questions, I will be glad to help you 🙂

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] complianz plugin called to earlyHi @kingbrown75 and @softguner ,
By code design, we fixed this months ago, but it could appear again if other plugins make it do things earlier in the request than it would normally do itself, which could lead to this problem. We had a case where an integration (WooCommerce related) was causing this issue, which was flooding the server. Can you please try to disable all the plugin integrations one by one in Integrations > Plugins until there’s nothing left, and let us know the outcome?
Thanks in advance :).
Best regards,
Antonio
