    You’re right, WP_CRON was disabled πŸ™
    Now it works!

    Just another little request:
refreshing the status page of a reservation expired (and deleted) “booking not found”: is it possibile to add more details?

Thank you for your great support

Hi Siim, here the results of tests you requested:

    1. Booking A
The pending booking are not deleted.
The status page shows the red warning “This pending booking has expired and will be deleted”
    2. Booking B (explicitly set processing to payment status)
The pending booking are not deleted.
The status page shows the red warning “This pending booking has expired and will be deleted”
    3. Booking C (explicitly set none to payment status)
The pending booking are not deleted.
    No warning about expiration

Could it depend on the provider where my WordPress site is hosted?

In our scenario we configured “pending bookings” and “Set approved” when the paypal payment has been completed. After a booking is done The booker is redirected to status page and, from here, the payment operation can begin. Here the booking flow:

    Making a booking:

    • Visitors select seats on the map, up to 15 per booking.
    • After choosing seats, visitors open the selection menu to complete their booking.
    • Booking details are entered once and applied to every seat.
    • A full name (first and last) is required.
    • A booking’s main contact email can be used for at most 10 bookings (a single booking can include several seats).
    • Bookers also fill in the custom fields you have created, which are required by default.

    After submitting:

    • Every booking gets its own status page where the booker can view the booking details and its current status.
    • Once a booking is approved, the status page offers a downloadable booking PDF with a scannable QR code.
    • Each booking stays pending until an admin approves it.
    • If there is no payment activity, a pending booking is automatically removed after 5 minutes (we set 5 minutes for test purpose)
    • A pending booking is approved automatically once its payment is completed.
    • When a booking is approved, the booker receives a receipt email.
    • Payment is requested on the booking status page after the booking is made.
    • Afterward, visitors are redirected to their booking status page.

I noticed that the payment status as soon as the booking was made is “None” and becomes “Completed” only when the payment is completed.

Since the only bookings that can be cancelled must have the payment status set to “processing” I then tried to use a registration that does not require payment (removing the “processing” flag) but even in this case I see a payment status set to “None” and the reservations are not cancelled when they expire.
I hope I haven’t bored you and that I’ve explained our problem clearly.

In general what could be the reason for missing deletions of expired pending reservations?
    Thank you!
