In reply to: [Pen] Pen plus Siteorigin. Is there an issue?Hello,
Many thanks for your response. Much appreciated. The pages were created after installing firstly the theme and then site origin plugin. I have tried it with the basic themes installed and the site origin loads as it should as the default. So it would appear to be the Pen theme itself.
I am using the classic editor as I am not too keen on Gutenberg for now. I maybe should give it some more time to see where any benefits lie in using it.I did find it a big laggy and even clumsy at times which slowed my progress which is why I reverted to the classic editor for all the sites I work on.
I am not seeing the little arrow you speak of on the ‘Add new’ for Posts or Pages. Thats a bit odd as well.Is this in the admin panel?
Thanks for now. I shall plod on and progress things within the current setup and see where I get to.
Thank you for your insight.

In reply to: [evolve] WordPress 5.6I am having a similar issue regards the page builder after updating to the latest wp and SO plugin versions.
All the site origin widgets have been replaced with just code in the visual editor. Its like the page builder has not installed properly.
The page builder option is appearing underneath the visual and text editor options.
Hopefully this doesn’t mean I need to rebuild all the pages I have constructed using page builder?Again this has happened after upgrading both wordpress and site origin widgets to the latest versions.
I have tested with all plugins deactivated which makes no difference. When I switch to one of the default themes then the pagebuilder and site origin widgets appear as they should.
I am using a child them of evolve.
I had been in a dialogue regards this with the site origin guys here:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/page-builder-not-installing-properly-after-updating-wp-site-origin/#post-13799495Ok I have made the changes and switched back to the theme I was using and all seems to be as it should be.
Its a somewhat tedious route for future updates.
I did have look at the theme4press site, the theme developers, and I note on the support forums that there have been issues with the wordpress update and the theme. I shall watch with interest to see if there are further updates.
I assume if I make the change whilst using the other theme and then switching back after making the change that this issue is purely down the the back end and will not affect the presentation of the site?
How do I find the javascript errors in the theme?
I have already deactivated all plugins except the page builder. I did temporarily deactivate that also but there is of course no change.
Thanks for the option on making he change but I shall wait till I have this issue resolved then move on the change.
Hello, I am moving quickly on this as I have an addition to make to the site.
I have switched off all plugins except page builder with no change.I did switch to one of the default themes and this appears to resolve the issue. The theme I was using was a child theme of evolve. Neither the updated version of evolve or the child version allow the page builder to load as it should. I guess this could be an issue with the theme developer?
Ok here are a couple of links to there eilat of the inspection of a typical malfunctioning page:

Ok thats all but the site origin plugins deactivated and nothing has changed.
Any thoughts?Thats a lot of plugins to go through but I shall get on with it.

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Page Jumps from main menuHello Andrew,
Many thanks for your response.
I tried the Row ID route but it didn’t appear to function.
I assume that its the same process of setting up the link in the menu and then adding the same label into the Row Attributes>Row ID part? Is the hashtag used still in the link only and not the label in the Row ID?After your comments I realised that it actually may have been a browser issue as the jumps worked well enough in another browser. I need to remember to test in more than one browser!
The plugin looks good actually so I may try that also.Really appreciate you taking the time to respond.
All the best for nowForum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [VW Education Academy] menu broke in latest updateI am having the same issue. The small grey menu icon with a cross beneath it sitting just above the main menu in main browser window. It appears to be triggered by default and not when the page is resized.
I am enduring this notice also. I installed the plugin just to see if this would get rid of it. Activated it also but still it appears. Deleted the plugin and its still there.
As a developer surely the plugin developer should be queried as to whether they are up to standard if they do not display a means for people to remove this unwanted plugin notice.
Did anyone manage to find a way to remove this at all?Ok Problem solved!
After a bit more digging I discovered that the background to the content on the event calendar page was in fact controlled by the sites them and not the theme within the plugin.Lesson learned.
Many thanks Katsushi, I see how it works now.
Its very helpful and makes the media folder easier to manage now that I can see how it functions. Great work.Best of luck
