It’s fixed. It was a hosting permissions error. They had to reset my permissions and that got everything back to normal.
The weirdest I find about it is links from other folders work such as this one:
https://www.survivorgif.com/wp-content/randomgif/tinawriteep15.gif
but if i go to the same file in the uploads folder which elementor looks for to access the library I get a 404 even though the image is 100% there in file manager in that location.

Basic Version
As you can see in this screen video…
I start with the page that I made from elementor that worked before the domain name change. You can see the image on the top left works, but none of the ones in the middle do. I click the bottom middle one which is titled “tinawriteep15”.
I then go into my media library which everything shows a ? and select that image which then shows the path to be in the uploads/2020/ part of the website.
I go to there in cpanel and sure enough the file is there. I can download it to my desktop and it works, I can view the file path and it matches the wordpress admin/library location, and if I tell cpanel to view it, it loads up there too.
Yet on the website/media library its acting like the media link is wrong.
Hey I did that a few minutes ago upon suggestion from someone on the facebook group. Elementor seems to recognize the correct URL now, but for whatever reason even though I go to that location in my file manager in cpanel I still see a bunch of ? logos in elementor and my wordpress media library even though the links are correct and the image files are in the correct directory.
Oh I saw Elementor and got confused sorry.
