Further troubleshooting shows that the action on the newsletter form has the url without http://www., even though the page is rendered on a www. subdomain.
With my DNS, the naked domain is 301 redirected to www. and then wordpress takes over, not sure why this is happening.
Thoughts?
I have this issue as well. Latest AAM and WP.
