i have pretty much the exact same issue. I’d be keen to see if anyone has figured a way to do this. Possibly a 2.8 include…?
i read up quite a bit on this back in April when I had my first baby… i remember the issue being something to do with the content encoding…?

I am using WP 1.51, and Apache 1.3x, Php 4.x if this helps!
