Hello there,
The TranslatePress trp-ajax.php file might be blocked by a security plugin such as WordFence or host configuration. Try to disable such security plugins or ask your host about this issue.
It’s also possible that your host server configuration doesn’t allow TranslatePress to perform a direct database connection. In this case, install this plugin to switch to a WordPress native approach. The only drawback is that on some large websites it can be a bit slower to translate front-end dynamic texts. https://translatepress.com/download/1151690/
Try this and let me know!

Here are some steps to debug this:
- see if you have any javascript errors in the browser console https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors . A printscreen could help.
- if you have any security or minification plugins please deactivate them and try again. Some caching plugins also have minification settings that can break javascript code, so for testing purposes please disable any caching as well.
- try and open the website in a different browser just to exclude a browser add-on that might interfere with javascript.

Would you be able to test this on a clean instance where you have only Borlabs and TranslatePress active?
Also, can you send me a Loom of what is really happening there?
Let me know about this!

Since you have problems with the slug translation I assume you have the SEO Pack addon.

Make sure you translate the correct string from the email.
Please open the Translation Editor->String Translation and search on Gettext and Emails tab the strings and translate them and see if everything will be translated.

Hello there,
The languages should be dragged using the 6 dots that appears on the language from Settings->TranslatePress->General tab and move the language you want above the default one.

In order to reorder the languages correctly, make sure you have the “Use subdirectory for the default language” feature enabled from Settings->TranslatePress->General tab.
Once you make sure this, you can drag the Arabic version to be the first one which should work.

Regarding this, we have some problems with the search plugins so what I recommend is to check our documentation on how you can implement a custom search solution that will work on your website.
Here is the documentation you need for this: https://translatepress.com/docs/developers/implementing-a-custom-search-solution/

Hello there,
Yes, you can do this as I mentioned above.
If you want another language to be the first language, then simply enable:
- Use TranslatePress -> Settings -> Subdirectory for default language -> Yes
- Reorder the languages
If there’s anything else, please let me know!
