Thank you, Asceta. This fix worked for me.
Took a few attempts as Dreamweaver didn’t seem to like me trying to directly edit the files on the server, but once I chose to edit my local files instead and then PUT them on the server, it worked first time.

Thanks for making this patch. I’m having this problem too.
I can find the custom-header.php patch, but I can’t see the theme.php file in your directory. The nearest thing to it is theme_colors.php in the admin folder.
Can you tell me where it is?
