In reply to: Copy ALT attribute to TITLE attribute automaticSame here. Ultimately, I’d like to rename all image files to the post slug. The Bulk SEO Image plugin copies the the post title to the image alt, and the File Renamer plugin copies the image title to the image filename (in a slug format). All I need now is to copy the alt to the title (although a plugin that just used the post title to change the filename would be ideal).

The plugin works for the first batch of posts, but not for the new ones that come along.

In reply to: [Rename Media Files: Improve Your WordPress SEO] What do I do with old media?Ok now I saw that:
File renaming based on post title needs to be done inside admin on post creation or edition. Otherwise how could i know the post title?
And the file upload needs to be done by the native wordpress media upload only. I’m sorry
How about picking the first post it’s attached to?
Use how, TheDani?

In reply to: [WP Autoset Featured Image Plus] Images not showingSame here, Lucia. I’ll drop you an email.
I too thought the purpose of the plugin was to rename the media files according to the posts they are attached to for better SEO. If not, what’s it for? I saw some people saying it’s a godsend for people with a huge media library and people saying that you just need to change the titles and it will rename the files (or vice-versa, I didn’t get it). Either way… I’m confused. Not sure what the difficulty with numbering is either; plenty a bulk file renamer on the desktop does that.
I’m not sure what’s so dangerous, but it’d be really useful for SEO. I often just copy-paste images into posts via the ‘OnePress Image Elevator’ plugin, so the filenames are horrendous. Add title and alt tags to the mix, and you’ll be way ahead of the competition (I know, you already are).
