Exactly you’re doing right, every plugin has different story but at least it works.
However I can’t understand why sitemap has my domain URL in the post section when it’s already updated in the page section.

In reply to: My sitemap shows 404 after updating wordpress to 5.9.2Ok, I did flush permalinks again in SEOPress plugin, then submitted again sitemap to search console. Let’s see I hope it will fix it, however the sitemap URL still same like mydomain.com/sitemaps.xml.
