    Hi,

thanks for the speedy reply. I’ve tried using the page argument – but seems to paginate at 10 (no matter ‘per_page’ number is set, which means, unless I’m missing something, running through 11 different queries. I’ve tried it in Postman and in the browser and the result is the same.

I can modify, just thought there might a query that would produce all the results. I think the earlier version could return all users (and categories), like posts can be done now – any plans to implement this?

    Thanks,

    Tim

    Hi,

Sorry I was away for a couple of weeks and wasn’t checking Rackspace’s messages. This came in from them a week ago:

To answer your developer’s questions regarding PHP and curl:

    [root@517338-web2 ~]# php -v
    PHP 5.3.3 (cli) (built: Feb 22 2013 02:51:11)
Copyright (c) 1997-2010 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2010 Zend Technologies

    [root@517338-web2 ~]# curl –version
    curl 7.19.7 (x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu) libcurl/7.19.7 NSS/3.13.6.0 zlib/1.2.3 libidn/1.18 libssh2/1.4.2
Protocols: tftp ftp telnet dict ldap ldaps http file https ftps scp sftp
Features: GSS-Negotiate IDN IPv6 Largefile NTLM SSL libz

    Does that help?

    Best,

    t.

    HI,

The images did not upload to the CDN. It’s a Cloud Sites account.

I can’t spend any more time on this for the moment. Dealing with Rackspace takes forever and I have to focus on other things. I posted your questions in support and will pass them on when I get the answer, but I have to give up for now. Let me try this again in a month or so.

    Hey,

I installed the plugin on our testing site:

    testing2.carnegie.org

It took awhile – at least half an hour, and in that time our site froze. It does seem to have helped with page load time (I’m mainly concerned with this page: http://testing2/carnegie.org/explore

    which has nearly 500 images.

However, it’s dropped nearly a quarter of the images, and, curiously, YSlow still gives an ‘F’ grade for using a CDN.

    Any ideas?

    Best,

    Tim

    Hi,

I installed and ran the plugin on our testing site:

    http://testing2.carnegie.org

    (pw for the wall: 437Madison)

As you can see the site has frozen again. As before, the landing page loads properly, but you can’t click on any of the links, or get into the admin panel, and the loader itself has stalled out.

    Hi,

Any progress? I was going to run another test on the testing site today. Wanted to make sure it won’t crash the site first. Just a testing site, but a pain to get it all back in working order if something goes wrong.

The errors were all from rackspace – from the server error logs. Nothing showed up in the admin panel. It was while syncing the files yes. Many actually did get synced into the CDN, although they didn’t show up until many hours later. In the meantime, many images were dropped from the site and had to be reuploaded (I did NOT check remove files from site).

    Hi,

Thanks for looking into this. ‘Add my credentials’ – to the plugin? I did this yesterday, yes. Have since deactivated – a lot of images went missing and had to reupload. What would I be taking a screenshot of?

    Yes, latest version.

PHP version . . . I’ll have to check with Rackspace. I’m assuming the latest, but I’ll check with them.

    Thanks,

    Hi James,

thanks, I’d appreciate that. Keep me posted on what you find.

    James,

Well, it’s still happening, even after I disabled the browser cache entirely. Methinks there’s some serious clash going on. We just had a big thunderstorm here (NYC) and everything’s a bit wonky, but if it persists, I might disable w3TC entirely and see. Actually, I just disabled everything in w3tc and the amazon feed seems to be working fine so I guess that’s what it was. I guess if the issue comes up for someone else, tell them to check their caching plugin.

Thanks for all your help, very impressive. I’ll have to try your ‘goodreads’ plugin as well.

    Hi James,

Thanks a lot. these settings were already in place, except of course leaving out product page in question (do you put in the php template (ie single-product.php) or the url do you know?

I’ll see how it goes, if the problem persists, I might WP Super Cache. I’m sure W3TC is great, but they haven’t updated in a year now, which is a kind of a long time. Maybe there’s some clash there now.

    Thanks again,

    Tim

    HI James,

Thanks for your speedy reply, very impressive. I don’t know a lot about caching, but that seems to be it.

I installed W3 Total Cache and recently configured it according to these instructions:

    http://www.doitwithwp.com/speed-up-wordpress-with-w3-total-cache/

I did notice this happening once or twice even before I think I turned on the W3T plugin, however that well may have been a problem with my wireless service, which has been terrible of late.

I wrote W3T as well, but any thoughts on how to configure, or should I try another caching plugin like WP Super Cache (I just found out W3T hasn’t updated in a while, though an update is due out soon). I’m using your plugin on a couple more client sites and though performance is important, it’s more important that these reviews appear consistently.

    Thanks for your help,

    Tim
