In reply to: import/export issuesblah, so I went with the import again just because I could, and it actually imported some of the stuff this time. Not all, and not as much as the last time when I was just fumbling around with it.
Should I not expect the export/import process to recreate an exact replica of the old page I had? There wasn’t anything customized on it at all, just content added.

In reply to: import/export issuesHeh, yeah, I only called it a WordPress portal because I’m not down with all the terminology and it was very late.
I have done everything that you said I should do. In fact, I’ve done it and redone it so many times that when I go to hit “Import” again, it shows a list of all the files that already exist there. I do wonder if something there is messing up, because every time, that list gets longer of stuff that’s already been imported. Again, though, I go to refresh my site and nothing is there.
Should it take a certain amount of time? or require any other confirmation of settings or such? I’m not sure why the first time I at least got some of the information to transfer and this time I get nothing.
