So when I add this into my style.css is that the stylesheet for my theme, or specifically for my plugin (as originally suggested when going through my wordpress instead of cpanel)?
Hope that makes sense! Just want to be sure I’m adding it to the correct file. I couldn’t find the plugin file – but perhaps that is because the widget is no longer active?
Legend!
Although, I cannot seem to find the right file to overwrite.
I’m checking here http://amyelandry.com/wp-admin/plugin-editor.php
I’ve gone into the plug in settings, but file doesn’t exist down the right side, where it shows the list of current plug in files.
All that shows up are the following:
feed-them-social/feed-them.php
feed-them-social/admin/feed-them-system-info.php
feed-them-social/admin/feed-them-settings-page.php
feed-them-social/readme.txt
feed-them-social/includes/feed-them-functions.php
feed-them-social/js/powered-by.js
feed-them-social/css/powered-by.cssHey Slickremix – apologies for the delay!
I’ve update the widget on my site, on the right side bar:
http://www.amyelandry.com/blogThe code I’m using in the widget is:
[fts instagram instagram_id=4111544]
Interestingly, each photo is only showing a cropped image. It’d be great if it were possible to show each photo in it’s entirety (not sure if that’s possible?), and perhaps no border. But if that can’t be changed then not a problem at all.
I’d love 2 photos across (2 columns), and 3 down, or 2 down. I don’t mind really.
Thank you very much in advance!!
Ok, I’ll get onto this today! Apologies for the delayed reply. I’ll confirm once it’s active on my site. Thank you again!
You can see the lay out I’d like if you scroll down Sarah Wilson’s home page here: http://www.sarahwilson.com It’s in her side bar – although she is not using FTS. But it gives you an idea of the layout I’d like.
Hope that’s what you need?
Thank you!
P.s: I don’t know anything about coding, but I know how to find the CSS file to edit within the plugin’s settings.
Hey Slickremix,
I’m having the same issue. My side bar is rather narrow, but even when I place the widget in my footer it does the same thing. Generally I like to fix images that are 200 pixels in width, so happy if I can get 2 Instagram images across, even if they’re 100 pixels wide each.
Any help? I’ve not activated the plug in on my site because it doesn’t look good as the long single feed.
Also, once the photos sit with two across, can I also control how many images are shown down the feed? Ideally I’d like 2 across, and 3 down.
Thank you!!

In reply to: A quick way to upload WordPress Directory to CPanel?Ok – Progress… I just tried going to
http://example.com/wp-admin/install.phpAnd instead of it doing nothing, I got this message:
Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down. Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?
If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums. So now I have another issue, lol. I’ll double check the info I’ve put into the wp-config.php file……

In reply to: A quick way to upload WordPress Directory to CPanel?I just tried it and it has already changed! 🙂
So should the next step be to go to http://example.com/wp-admin/install.php ?
Some one above suggested going to: yourdomain.tld ??

In reply to: A quick way to upload WordPress Directory to CPanel?Just quickly, I decided to select:
I have specific nameservers for my domains?
And then saved. I got a message saying it usually takes 2 hours to take affect, but can take up to 48.
Hopefully this is resolved?!?!

In reply to: A quick way to upload WordPress Directory to CPanel?@jonradio – I did as you suggested checking out Who Is, and they are not set up properly… it shows the servers as:
NS09.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
NS10.DOMAINCONTROL.COMWhen they should be HostGator ones. I did change them over about 12 hours ago in my Go Daddy account. Should it work automatically?
I have found another section of Go Daddy, where the old server names are still showing. WHen prompted to change I first have to select one of the following:
I want to park my domains?
I want to forward my domains?
I have a hosting account with these domains?
I have specific nameservers for my domains?Which one should I select??? Cheers!

In reply to: A quick way to upload WordPress Directory to CPanel?Ok great, I’ve done as you suggested – created a Test.txt file, and uploaded it to the public_html folder. I checked in my CPanel, and it is definitely there.
I went to the domain address you said (adding my domain name, replacing example), and it redirected me to the Go Daddy website, where I purchased my domain name.
I’m hosting through GatorHost, and have changed the name servers on my Go Daddy account….
Does this show that it is just simply a waiting game? Or something still not set up correctly?
Thanks!

In reply to: Trouble with final step of installationOk thank you – makes sense. I’ve got my 2 name servers from the first email from HostGator, and then logged into my Go Daddy account. I went into my account settings and found the Domain Registration Defaults section. Here I could enter those 2 name servers.
Is it that simple? I hope that is going to be all it takes 🙂 Oh and just 48 hours I guess! 😉

In reply to: Trouble with final step of installationI purchased the domain name through Go Daddy, but am hosting through HostGator (I purchased a package through them when signing up for Elegant Themes).
Sorry – this is all new to me, what does DNS stand for? Something Domain related no doubt.
Thank you thank you thank you 🙂
