Addendum for clarity: When I run the “Test login” option on Twitter tools, I’m getting the “everything is ok” message. So, as far as I know, Twitter Tools is talking to Twitter just fine. It’s just the fetching of tweets that seems to be clogged, and, as I said, it could be a whale in the pipes. The working and the non-working install are just on two separate servers (with two separate twitter usernames) so if there’s any way for me to troubleshoot a little more precisely I’d appreciate the info.
