Hey mikomani,
Was able to figure out what the problem was for mine. I had a plugin, “root relative urls” that was shortening my URLS and omitting the http, www, and website URL so Google wasn’t able to pick up the full URL.
Disabled the plugin and all of my pages & posts submitted properly.
Check your plugins and see if one might be causing interference.
Best,
Andrew
Hey ilaria12,
It’s to my understanding that just because you’re filling out the SEO information in the plugin, that doesn’t mean people will all of a sudden be able to find you through those keywords.
You need to build links back to your site using those keywords, and rank at least in the first 3 pages (preferably the first page) in order for anyone to find you.
You have to build backlinks for those keywords, and continually do so to rank highly in the search engines.
If you don’t have backlinks – through article marketing, videos, social media, blogs, etc. – and aren’t continually building those backlinks to your website, no one is going to find you.
Adwords is just paid advertising and has nothing to do with Off Page SEO or search engine rankings.
You might want to research off-page SEO to get a better idea of what I’m talking about here.
That’s my understanding at least. Hopefully that gives you an idea why.
