In reply to: [JW Player for Flash & HTML5 Video] Using HTML5 when Flash neededIs there a way to force Flash through programmming? I mean, I still need HTML5 for those devices and browsers not supporting flash, but I can check if the browser is FF and force it to Flash.
An other important detail is there is no problem with files. If I get the flash html/js code and fill the file attribute with one which is giving this HTML5 situation it plays well.

How come some files try to use HTML5 (even it is not supported) and some others don’t?

I have already configured the plugin to use Flash as a default but JWPlayer keeps trying to use an HTML5 for these files.
Isn’t the plugin supposed to check HTML5/Flash support and choose one or the other accordingly?
I am taking a look at the plugin code, reached to “jwplayer_handler” method in JWShortcode.php which seems to be the one that provides atts to use HTML5.
Anyone has a clue why the plugin decides to use HTML5 just for some files?What is the difference between these files and the others that make JWPlayer choose HTML5? As I said video formats are exactly the same.
Please any help is appreciated

I have seen it is a theme matter. I am using Modernize Theme(http://themeforest.net/item/modernize-flexibility-of-wordpress/1264247) and when i change it back to Twenty Eleven videos appear with no problem.
Anyone has any idea?Thanks
