In reply to: Posts emailed to WooCommerce 'Customers'Hey guys, I’ve just installed Mailpoet and having great success!
The newsletters are being received by all my accounts (Hotmail, Gmail, and using my own client). I see there’s a way to include recent posts in a newsletter so may just use this instead.
I did try Postman SMPT and verified the test mails are going out yet the posts are still not getting through.
Thanks for all your input but Mailpoet seems stable and will provide a more polished look for my client.
Cheers!

In reply to: Posts emailed to WooCommerce 'Customers'Hey James, thanks for the reply. It now appears to be a general mail issue. One of my test accounts is getting posts using my email client. That account is set as a ‘customer’ so I know WooCommerce isn’t the issue. Both hotmail/gmail not receiving posts form that site so I’m thinking they are being blocked? – possibly marked as Spam? I know sending mail using the default PHP mail is a thorny issue. I’m not wanting to send out anything fancy just the odd post to a small customer base or I would consider mailchimp or something.
WooCommerce registration emails are going through but they use my domain rather than donotreply@wordpress.com (for post emails) so it’s posing to the default mail function that appears to be the issue. One user suggested: https://wordpress.org/plugins/postman-smtp/
I do have another WP site which is sending out posts to a test Gmail account. I’m thinking I will try Mailchimp afterall and see if this works better.
Thanks again,
Alex
