I’m looking for the same thing. Only I have a site with 14 regional departments. I was thinking that a WordPress Network would be the way to go so that each site could have it’s own twitter and FB widgets – and I’d just have to style them all the same and get a plugin for a nav bar that floats on top of all sites, but surely there’s got to be a way to accomplish this without placing individual badges on each department page.

I was pulling out my hair trying to figure out why there were duplicate and broken thumbnails on posts with and without the plugin installed.
