    Hi
    Thanks for the snippet.
I put it into functions.php file located in my theme folder and unfortunately it does not work. – neither on the cart page nor on the checkout page.
    Can you advise sth?

    Regards

    Helo
Thanks for your answer. That would be great to have it fixed:-)
If you could give me a custom code and it wouldn’t be a lot of work for you (e.g. a couple of lines) that would be great.
If the next plugin version will be within a couple of days then that if fine – no snipet would be neccessary then.

Thank you so much in advance

    AN UPDATE:

Unfortunately shopping with the card is also not OK.
    Example:
I bought a gift card with the nett price = 81,30zł. In the basket the system added the 1,23% tax and I paid 100zł.
I got an e-mail with the card details informing about the card code and amouont = 81,30 (should be 100zł)
I checked that the card was created in the system with the nett price (81,30)
I wanted to buy somenting – specified the card code and the discount was 81,30 instead of 100zł.

    Hi,
In the meantime I accidentaly discovered what caused the problem of additional tax.

The user is able to use the gift card in 2 ways:
    – using the “Gift Card Code” field provided by your plugin (in the Basket) – this way the additional tax is not added to the card amount (the gross amount is used as the gross discount)
    – using the standard Coupon field (the one provided by Woocommerce)- this way the card amount is used as the nett price (as for the standard coupons functionality) so the additonal tax is added. This way the user gets the bigger discount.

I do not know if you can fix this as the support fix.
Unfortunately I cannot control what the user is doing while purchasing.
I did it accidentaly – so the user can do it too.

    Regards
    Alicja

I’m not using any 3rd party plugin for price calculation – just the standard WooCommerce functionality: In Woocommerce settings I have chosen 2 options:
    1) Prices Entered With Tax: “No, I will enter the prices exclusive of tax”
    2) Display Prices in the Shop: “Including Tax”
That means Woocommerce should calculate the gross prices by itself and then display them to the user (who is interested how much he/she should pay)

It, in fact, works well for all the products, excluding gift cards.
For gift cards you need to select the value of the gift card from the dropdown list, which, I do not know why, presents the nett prices instead of gross.
In the basket itself the price is correctly presented so the user pays the right amount of money.

The problem is that the nett price (insted of gross) is presented on the product page which is misleading the user (as he expects gross price)
Also the e-mail generated to the user shows the nett value (whereas it should show the gross value)

The giftcards itself are created in the system correctly – with the nett prieces (as it is defined for all products) and then the shopping with the card is OK.

    What should I do?
