Jennie,
Locate the “header” area in the style.css file. there should be an image link to a url. change the name of that file to the image you want (or rename your image with the name that’s already in there), and then load up your image to the proper folder on your host.
That should do it, if I understand what you’re trying to do correctly…

Newbie here, stumbling across this old thread – I’m still feeling my way through the set up – in what file & where do I put the call to the image? do I need to alter the style sheet at all?
