    Hi,

I had another reply via the Studiopress forums and this following post has provided the answer that has worked for me!

    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/utf-7-of-death-wp-bug?replies=3

It involves changing the charset via the database options, phpMyAdmin etc.

    Thanks for your input!

    Alana 🙂

    I have the same problem.

I deactivated all plugins – result – still there.
I reverted back to Twenty Thirteen – result – still there.
I deleted the Genesis Latest Tweets plugin as somehow in the mix that was an issue as well – result – still there.

My issue appeared after the upgrade to Genesis 2.0.0 and not an upgrade to WP 3.6

I have posted on the Studiopress forums too regarding the Genesis aspect of this problem.

I have the same issue. I want to see the thumbnails at the top of the page as per some of the screenshots. Is this possible please?
    Thanks,

After no help or input at all from WordPress so far (ok I know it’s *just* 16 hours ago I posted this but maybe some input would have been good when downtime on a site means lost traffic and money) the devs at Woothemes have managed to find a solution which doesn’t explain the problem but does bypass what the issue was:

“It seems that the main jquery.js file isn’t loading correctly or is somehow corrupt, which is in turn causing other JavaScript, that requires jQuery, to produce errors.

I’ve loaded a plugin called “Use Google Libraries”. This bypasses the jQuery within WordPress in favour of a copy of jQuery hosted by Google.”

It would still be good to know if this is a blip in 3.4 or caused by something else and if there is a long term solution rather than a quick fix plugin patch to fix what the problem is. Again, any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Alana
