@webvitaly , I have been using your plugin with success for a couple of months, everything has been quite and I’ve had no spam nor complaints. Still I am uncomfortable that maybe my actual real visitors are trying to comment without success and don’t complain just like I find myself when I am on other people’s sites and I just don’t want to waste my time. I ask you: Is there any way that I can configure the plugin so that I can see a list of those comments that it filtered out?

Thank you Gerroald for your insight. I took your advice and canceled the turning off of the XMLRPC feature. But, as of yet, I am not fluent enough with Jetpack to give you a proper feedback, I haven’t learned yet all of the features of Jetpack.

Still, will whitelisting WordPress.com work as well? Or does whitelisting only relate to logging on to my dashboard?
