i have the same problem, try using firefox 3 and IE 6, just the same thing. The thumbnails randomly shifted 2 or more, leaving a blank space.
it happen in post and pages
don’t know how to fix it.
do we have any choice to meassure the space between thumbnails ?

how can i fix multiple uploads ?
it is painfull using browse for each file 😀
allready using winscp and putty for uploading much picture
and click ‘Scan Folder for new images’
and yes… it is still painfull 😀
