In reply to: All old posts are gone – completely disappearedSteps I’ve taken to recover the blog after 3.2 Upgrade disaster:
1. Download every file off server
2. Removed the entire install of WP
3. Deleted previous database.
4. Create new database
5. Fresh install of WP 3.2 (not an upgrade… new install of 3.2)
6. Use PHPMyAdmin to import backup database
7. Upload all plugins, images, and theme files

In reply to: categories and users disappear after upgradeYes, I’m having a similar problem : all of my posts are gone when logged into the admin area… shows 0 posts. Plus, I can’t add new posts.
I’ve done clean install via FTP, used twenty eleven theme, deactivated all plugins and nothing is working. Would love it if there was a link to download 3.1.x.

In reply to: All old posts are gone – completely disappearedYes, I’m using the administrator login. Even created a new user/administrator and go the same thing.
Also, I’ve changed to twenty eleven theme, shut off all plugins and done a manual FTP of 3.2. Nothing worked. Still can’t see any old posts.
