I’ve added that data but Google won’t verify it. I suspect it’s being cached. I think it runs these checks monthly, so hopefully it will quietly disappear now.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events also not showingHi Tristan,
as I mentioned earlier, this event was problematic since about 2 weeks ago and I tried changing everything to get it to re-appear in the list. It doesn’t matter what the status is. I tried them all and it didn’t appear.
I think in future if an event suddenly starts getting flagged in the Events edit list page with the word “- scheduled” appended to the title and it no longer appear in the events listing, then I’ll recognise that it’s foobarred and recreate it.

I have now abandoned this event and created a fresh version which is behaving itself currently. If you discover anything from this screenshot, please let me know. Likewise is any of my events break in this way again, I’ll post here.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events also not showingThe event’s date & time fields are all correct. Here’s the screenshot. However I can’t guarantee they weren’t earlier. I’ve tried editing this a lot to fix it!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events also not showingI have deactivated PublishPress. I checked it over and it doesn’t seem to have any ‘scheduling’ functionality.
In the edit event page, in the right hand menu, there is a Publish box, and for my visible events, they have a “published on…” plus editable date field.
For my invisible event, in the same place, it has a “schedule for…” plus editable date field.
So am I correct that you’re telling me that somehow my invisible event had a workflow clash somewhere in the process which has given it this “schedule” property, when it should have a “publish” property? Unfortunately I created this invisible event late at night before Christmas and what I do recall is that it wasn’t unusual. However I have no experience with the Events Calendar so I probably wouldn’t recognise anything unusual.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events also not showingHi Darian,
thanks for replying. I disabled WP Super Cache and edited and saved the change to the missing event, but it remains invisible. However I have just noticed something which strikes me as suspicious – in the Events list for editing, I have 3 events – the two that are visible are set to status “published”, but the invisible one has status “scheduled”. In fact, the title of the event is suffixed in bold with “- scheduled”.
I can’t change the status manually from “scheduled” to “published” because the “published” status isn’t an option in the dropdown on the Quick Edit menu. I shall hunt for a way to change it. It does appear to be the only difference that might be causing the issue.
OK everyone, I have fixed it. Turns out the Gallery block was not actually a native block – rather from GalleryBerg. I replaced it with good ol’ Columns and sorted it out like that. No more problem.
Thanks v. much – which iPad do you have, actually? The screenshots from me above are from browserstack.com – useful website although I’ve now used up all my free minutes – in chrome. Also appears in FF, Safari and Opera. But I can therefore say with certainty it’s not a caching or browser issue. However depending on what iPad you’re using, I may have to write this off as a legacy issue.
It happens on all three browsers I’ve got loaded – Safari, FF & Opera. I can load Chrome too if you want to be totally hardcore but my bet is that it too will have problems.
I reconstructed the testimonials content using WP-native Columns blocks and getting rid of the Ultimate Blocks Testimonial blocks.
This just leaves the Gallery images no-show issue. It’s right down the bottom above the footer. See below – maybe I can use some other block instead of a Gallery?

excuse the crappy image. I just looked at it on browserstack.com and it’s not all iPads which muck it up – just some, like the iPad 11.
What foxes me is how it’s two completely different pieces of content.

No, not at all! Completely bamboozled still.
The phone view is fine. It’s the tablet / iPad that’s the problem.
Actually I’ve only got an iPad so I’m not sure about android tablets. But I don’t think it’s a browser issue, because the iPad has problems in Firefox, Safari and Opera.
What I meant by desktop and editor, is that using the editor tablet view does not reveal the issue. It’s only on my iPad.
OK that would suit me fine right now but long term, it feels like a permanent i18n solution should automatically align the text boxes. Initially I didn’t notice any issues because the short width of the whole form meant that the labels were on the line above the text boxes, rather than adjacent, which looks perfect too.
Sounds great! I’ll keep an eye on the newsletter 🙂
Hi Fouchert, I would benefit from number of active subscribers to each list, and the open rates. As the developer you will probably want to put all the data in there, but I find the large dashboard boxes, e.g. Rank Math plugin, are too big and affect the overview.

In reply to: Is there a plugin for listing the links to a page/post?Nithin, thanks v. much. That provides exactly what I was looking for! And more, obviously, which will be useful too no doubt. Thanks for jumping in there. Really helps 🙏🙏🙏
