I’m experiencing the same kind of problems but on multiple choice questions.
It perfectly works with open short answer.
Here is an example that works :

But doesn’t work with this :
http://maths-master.fr/quiz/qcm-sujet-02597/
And it doesn’t work for any of the multiple choice pages I’ve created.
I’m using:
QSM : 6.4.11 version wich is the latest one as far as I know
Wordpres : 5.4.2
I’ve tried with %AMOUNT_CORRECT%, CORRECT_SCORE and POINT_SCORE as well.
If you’ve got any ideau about it…
