for example the 1st produkt is associated to categories “Neuerscheinungen” and “e-books & Hörbücher”. This is right. But it appears when you choose category “Niederlande”. And on this screenshot are several other products like this. (Frontend shows the same behaviour)So the problem seems not, that categories and products have changed to wrong categories, but some (main-)categories show several products that do not belong to them.
So to fix manually, in which database-table(s) can we fix this error?
(Our working site is older – on the live-site are about 50 new products and other data like orders etc.)Forum: Plugins

you are right, there are some differences between this 2 sites.Meanwhile we tried another Theme (2016) and to disable all plugins without WooCommerce. The problem with categories remained unchanged.
Also in the backend of WordPress, products are displayed in wrong categories.

The problem appears only in main categories having subcategories.
Products in sub-categories and in categories without sub-categories are o.k.
Do you have any idea?

we have a test site www. http://netzedit.de/agenda that should now have the same plugin versions installed as the live site (though not the same content). Interestingly the problem with the messed up categories does not appear on the test site, whereas it still appears on the live site (disabeling plugins didn’t help).
