you’re welcome 🙂
@jardokraka: please try v1.6.6-beta: http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/file-gallery.zip
I hope I got it right this time 🙂
@revolter: please try the latest development version (1.6.6-beta) and see if it works for you: http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/file-gallery.zip
thanks for waiting 😉
hey joo-joo 🙂
thanks for the heads up – I’ve fixed both issues and uploaded a beta version to the repository: http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/file-gallery.zip
can you please check it? thanks! 🙂
@jardokraka you are absolutely correct, I knew I forgot about something, eh 🙂
I’m working on some minor modifications at the moment and I’ll be releasing a new version tomorrow, most probably with your suggestions implemented.
@revolter: indeed it’s a bug and I’ve been able to fix it. I’ll be releasing an update tomorrow. Thanks for reporting this 🙂
rel value is calculated via linkclass by default. if you want to have a custom rel value not influenced by the linkclass, then you’ll have to use one of these two filters:
* file_gallery_lightboxes_options – you can modify lightbox-specific options via this one
* file_gallery_lightbox_linkrel – this one will return you the current rel value for each attachment so you can modify it to suit your needsboth filters are documented in the help file, but feel free to post any questions here 🙂
but, jardokraka – you can!
in v1.6.5.3, on the media settings page, at the bottom, there are three options (checkboxes):
* Display options for inserting galleries into a post?
* Display options for inserting single images into a post?
* Display attachment custom fields?just uncheck the first two and the fieldsets will not even be printed out, not just hidden 🙂
fixed in v1.6.5.3 🙂
I’ve separated the display of options in v1.6.5.3 which should be available momentarily, please try it out 🙂
@jardokraka: next to the “delete all checked” button should be a “detach all checked” button?

In reply to: [File Gallery] [Plugin: File Gallery] Support for Custom Post Types???@hughhempel: I’m glad you’ve found the option 🙂
I’ll add a FAQ section to the readme.txt and the help file in the future, there’s a few recurring questions (like yours) that probably deserve to be there.@jardokraka: eh, yes, that shouldn’t be happening and I’ll correct it in next version 🙂
The good news is:
a) WordPress’ editor JavaScript will strip the caption tag if its contents are empty
b) the caption shorttag function will not display the caption if its contents are empty@jardokraka: well, those toggle fieldset visibility buttons will have to do for now 🙂
I’ll definitely implement your idea in the next version, but it’s going to take me a few weeks to release it.
Keep posting your suggestions, they are more than welcome 🙂
@jardokraka: thanks for noticing this! I’ve fixed it in 1.6.5.2, which should be available for download soon, and at latest by tomorrow via automatic updates 🙂
@jardokraka: thanks for the compliment 🙂
I’ve just released File Gallery 1.6.5.2 and the ‘display caption’ option should now be checked by default (and it should’ve been ever since I’ve added it, as WordPress adds captions by default).
I’ll add it as a config option on the media settings page in the next version.
