In reply to: Parent CSS not Visible in Child ThemeI’ve got it working! I took out all the spaces and periods and just shortened the zip file name to sfprs.zip and that seems to have done it. Thanks a lot for the help diagnosing the issue and sending me down the right thought path. I’ve got to think more like a machine when I name things and less like an English major. Thanks again.

In reply to: Parent CSS not Visible in Child ThemeYeah, I figured it out right after I asked you going through the head items in the html. I’m still completely baffled as to why it won’t import the parent style.css now though.

In reply to: Parent CSS not Visible in Child ThemeI liked that idea, but I’ve taken the period out and it still doesn’t work. It worked for a minute because I used a pre-made child theme. I’d like to figure out why it isn’t working though so I can understand it better. The period is no longer in there, but it has the same problem.

I’ve got 5 other sites running child themes built on twentytwelve with no problems, but I used ftp to transfer the theme. On this site the client only gave me login credentials for WP, so I tried zipping it and uploading through theme install. Everything seemed to work fine, but then the problems I’ve listed above.
