Well, there are a couple of ways (BTW, this site itself has been on the receiving end of a couple of /.’s and it did okay)
One thought is to set up a test blog, then get either a server or a few zombie computers to simulate a massive storm of users.

Saying that using javascript is wrong is saying that deleting his entire blog, which is within a site owner’s perfectly acceptable actions, is harmful, because it alters the other site’s data.
