I tried the rollback option. That didn’t work. It rolled back to the exact problem I was already having.
So I switched to a different theme. I have spent an hour this morning inputting all the information again and setting up the new theme and suddenly, I have nothing below the top-of-page slider. It won’t let me scroll in the preview or on the page itself. I’m really getting frustrated with WordPress.
Well, I did wonder if it was a theme problem, but there doesn’t seem to be any way to tell whether the problem is the theme or WordPress without asking. I design in Joomla, where I have never had this particular problem with the Gantry framework, so as a newcomer to WordPress it behooved me to post everywhere it might be possible to find a solution. Fortunately, my google group solved it!
